Common queries
What should I wear?
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and recline easily during your session. You will remain fully clothed throughout, however your shoes and socks will need to be removed for foot reflexology.
What is the role of a reflexologist in healthcare’?
A reflexologist cannot diagnose or treat illnesses or advise on medication. Reflexology is a complementary therapy that supports the overall wellbeing of a whole person.
Will more than one treatment be available?
After your first session I will create a treatment plan for your sessions which will be thoughtfully tailored and adapted to you.
What side effects are there?
Reflexology is often part of a person’s intentions towards greater self care being integrated in their life. Initial body responses to release of tension and stress tend to follow the body’s own natural healing response and so you may feel lethargic but this should pass within 24hrs.
Your first session
The treatment space has residential road parking, or there are two free public car parks within a 2 minute walk. The closest bus stops are a 5-7 minute walk.
Please arrive on time. If you are early please wait until your appointment time to knock on the door as I may be treating another client.
Please allow an additional 10 minutes of time in your diary. This enables ‘bookend’ time at either end of a treatment to settle in at the start and feedback at the end.
The session will finish on time to allow you to plan your day.
Cancellations
Cancellations given with 24hrs notice will not be charged.
