IN GOOD COMPANY
In Good Company has accompaniment and witness as its’ heart.
Who is it for?
In Good Company is designed for individuals who are navigating thresholds or complex transitions such as phased return to work following maternity leave, bereavement or sick leave.
In our sessions I encourage gentle walking near as much green or blue space as you can find during our phone calls to draw comfort and insights from the environment as well as ourselves.
As a practitioner confident and experienced in pastoral care, accompaniment is focused on the space found between camaraderie (the benefits of continuous social support of friends, family and colleagues) and counselling (formal targeted psychological care).
What does it involve?
We return to analogue as our primary means of communication. Engagement takes its form in phone calls, handwritten/typewritten letters and voice-notes.
Format: Six sessions (60 mins), arranged by mutual agreement, over a period of three months.
Curious to know more?
I support a select number of individuals at at time. Spaces can be booked either privately or as work place support.
